Minnesota Women in City Government

Background and Activities

MWCG was founded in 1978, soon after the formation of NLC Women in Municipal Government at the national level. Today, MWCG members participate in programs and activities to encourage more women to exercise leadership in office. MWCG works to bring elected or appointed women city officials together to further the goal of equal representation and partnership with all local officeholders.
